Fall Decor Shopping At Hobby Lobby

Tuesday!!! Can it really be Tuesday already? It seems like it should still be the weekend. My husband is possibly the most generous person around, whenever it comes to my wants and those of our son, his wife and children. Somehow we got off searching for a new TV for our gameroom, where we usually watch TV together. Are you with me….he is not so generous with his own wants. Perhaps we spent 2 weeks on this search for the perfect TV….yet he was not buying that one. Little did I know what he really wanted was much larger and more costly. Not huge, but what would fit perfectly in the entertainment center downstairs. No, no, he couldn’t buy that one. “And why not,” I asked a few times. I insisted that he deserved to get the one he wanted. Ah, it wasn’t even one of many he had heard about from friends and family. Long story short, we went to the shop together to get it…just in case he backed out. Otherwise, I would have gone to Hobby Lobby or Ross Dress For Less alone. He survived the purchase process! Bless his generous heart!

The above photo is the second one, that I’ve taken in a store with our new iPad! It’s quite different trying to get everything in that large screen on the iPad. Below is the first one and you will see how it got messed up, due to operator error in judgement! Love the sharp colors and the display is tops.

Thanks for visiting and please be sure to double click the photo on the bottom to get the unusual details! :) Partying this week with the blogs below…hope you visit again soon! Helen

  1. Hi Helen! Oh, I’m getting the fever as I’m seeing fall popping up all over blogland! Thanks for popping in to see me.
    be a sweetie,
    Shelia 😉

    • Hi Shelia, glad you got to drop by. Yes, fall is everywhere and uh…so is Christmas…at Cracker Barrel and Hobby Lobby! Maybe all over by now. I’m just not ready for it. Hurry back to see what’s next. Thanks, Helen

  2. Helen, I am not ready for the holidays, but I am sure ready for Fall and cooler weather! This heat we are having is just too much! It looks like you are having fun with your iPad. I am loving mine!!!

    • Maria, I totally agree about the heat. I’m loving our iPad, but it’s taking a while for Bob and me to get the hang of it.
      Thanks for visiting. Helen

  3. Those iPads take really good photographs! I don’t have one yet, but it’s on my wish list. I hope your husband is enjoying his new television, just in time to watch some Olympic events and football!

    • Jane, thanks…I was surprised how good they do…considering that I’m not a photographer at all. Bob is loving his dream TV! The man watches anything on TV. Speaking of the iPad, now we must learn how to surf the Internet on the new TV! I had no clue about those things. Thanks, Helen

  4. Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a sweet comment! I love my iPad! (It’s really my husbands, but I’ve taken it over-lol!) Hope you stop back again :)
    Susan

    • Hi Susan, you’re very welcome. Bob and I agreed to share one iPad. What were we thinking? Just kidding…it’s taking a while to get the hang of it. Love the size and light weight. Helen

  5. Helen is my long time junking buddy!!! Love your blog.

  6. Hi Helen, I was at our local Hobby Lobby this week and there are tons of fall and Christmas decor out! It’s still a little hard for me to thing about that with 95 degree temps outside!! Thank you for your kind remarks about our pool!!!

    • Hi Tammy, the heat has also been bad here, but the storms cooled us off somewhat. You’re very welcome about the remarks on your pool. My husband knows how hard that must have been to move a pool….he thinks your husband is very talented to be able to do that move of an inground pool. Actually, we had never heard of anyone else who has done that. Love your blog. Helen
