Loving Home Goods and Stein Mart

First blue item that I wanted you to see today is this gorgeous chair right inside Stein Mart’s door. Be still my heart…this shade of blue stopped me and demanded that I look. Actually, there were two of the blue identical chairs and I just knew some reader would enjoy knowing how to find these lovely seats. How do you like what you see?

And then there was this jaw dropping blue party dress for your favorite young lady at Home Goods. Yes, Home Goods! I had no clue that they dealt in clothing. Dis you know? This is the sweetest blue ever.

Strolling around in Home Goods, as usual, the framed art there is lovely and unlike anywhere else I’ve found.
This shell would certainly look fabulous alone or in a wall grouping. Hold that thought as there’s a possibility here. blue8813starfish
The blue starfish reminded me of our recent trip to Jacksonville Beach, Florida, where Bob and I toured the HGTV SmartHome 2013. Of course, it was very near the water and had beautiful shades of blue throughout most rooms.

This scene of the sails in the blue water meeting the beautiful blue sky jumped out at me. Wall art is difficult for me to pass by and yet this one will not get out of my mind. How about you? Do you have a difficult time leaving behind a lovely piece of framed artwork? If so, you have someone, who totally understands how hard that walking away can be. Suddenly there’s a possibility, that a long hallway in my home might become an art display. There are at least two framed prints waiting on a special location.

  1. Helen, those are two of my favorite stores, as well! You just never know what treasures you’ll find! I love that bird pillow in the blue chair! It’s adorable. And all of the artwork is fun, too!

    • Shenita, You know…I was thinking that bird pillow was perfect for the chair’s shade of blue. Stein Mart gets the credit for that display…most of their displays are lovely. It’s so great to see you back again. Thanks for dropping by and leaving me a note. You were missed.

  2. Those are some gorgeous things that you found while shopping! We have a Stein Mart that is fairly close by, but I have to travel about 45 minutes to get to a HomeGoods store. I see a road trip in my future!

    • Jane, you do need a road trip, don’t you? Glad you lived the HomeGoods items…there’s always something that needs to come home with me.
Thanks for stopping by and leaving me a note.

  3. I love your finds Helen! I wish there’s a Homegoods close to us, the nearest on is 2 hours away!!!! thanks for sharing and for visiting my ‘bright spot’!

    • Vel, thanks for dropping by and I’m glad you like the items from HomeGoods, too. A visit to your “bright spot” is always bright and fun and informative, too.

  4. HomeGoods makes my day every time I walk through their door! I love the conch shell print!

  5. I wish there was a Home Goods near me! I do have a Stein Mart about 40 miles away! Next time I’m in the city, I’ll have to stop to see if there are any beautiful things like you found!

    • HomeGoods is about 20 miles away; however, there’s also a Kirkland’s and TJMaxx in the same center. I’m sure your nearest TJMaxx will be great. Watch for TJMaxx finds to be posted soon…it was a busy day! 😉

  6. Hi Helen! You mean you didn’t buy that gorgeous blue chair? That is a beautiful shade of blue. The artwork is so pretty too. Thanks for popping in to see me and have a nice weekend.
    Be a sweetie,
    Shelia 😉

    • Oh Shelia! You are forcing me to admit that I have been in denial of my affection for blue! ‘Tis true! So, I’m having to decide where to go with blue! Not there just yet! The Stein Mart chairs were gorgeous together, but I had to cut out one or risk snapping another customer, who might not appreciate a photo of herself being on the Internet. 😉 Glad you dropped by. Thanks, Helen

  7. Helen, Thanks for linking to the Open House party! Since we have moved I really miss having a HomeGoods close by. I love the blue too.

    • Sherry, you’re very welcome. Hope you soon find your new home…best of luck in the hunt. Maybe you need to get an email off to HomeGoods to let them know they are needed. 😉

  8. HomeGoods is always a wonderful place to visit! Thanx for partying at THT!

  9. Looks wonderful! The closest of either to me would probably be an hour to 2 hours away, sigh – I do go to TJMaxx – lovely beachy finds! I do appreciate you sharing with Home and Garden Thursday,
