Pottery Barn Mirrors Calling My Name

Recently, Pottery Barn has filled my email daily with lots of terrific sale items.  First it was one or two items a day and I had to use self control.  You see I cannot decide what I want to spend my generous Pottery Barn gift card on.  One day this and another….you guessed it, I want it all and don’t need it!

On a message board a while back, I was amazed to count how many mirrors we have in this house.  That was after I mentioned to the board that Fly Lady said we should be able to clean all the mirrors in our home in 10 minutes.  When I realized that we had 15 rather large mirrors throughout our home, I knew something had to give.  Don’t misunderstand, I do love Fly Lady’s House Blessing and need to get back into it.  There’s always next Monday to make that decision…right?

Back to the daily Pottery Barn emails and the temptation of seeing the items on the Internet.  OK, I’ll be the one, who makes you wonder if you don’t need just one more lovely mirror!  Take a look at this beauty.  Notice this is a Gilded Mirror by Pottery Barn at this low price…amazingly low!  If you are ever thinking you need one…then this is it.  I have to tell you the size is quite near the Thomasville Gilded Mirror that is in our master bedroom.  This sale price is a fraction of what it cost and it was reduced due to some small damage.  This one is a buy!  Yes, I want it, but I dare not add another one.  Remember, I’m ready to re-up with Fly Lady!  Look this beauty over and then enjoy the video of how to hang a mirror.  Where was that video when I most needed it?

Here’s the video that I mentioned above.  Oh, be sure to double click a time or two to enlarge the PB photo, too.  You’ve got to love it…don’t you?

  2. Oh goodness! I love mirrors so much, I just think they are so pretty. When I see my Pottery Barn emails in my inbox I have to quickly delete them in order to keep my sanity. There is just too much eye candy right now!
Hope you are having a good week!

    • Tami, that’s about what I do, too. I think I must be known for my love of mirrors..and I think PB hears that. I know what you mean about the candy, too. Thanks for dropping by and Happy New Year. ….one last thing…I can see this mirror in your home! LOL!

  3. So pretty! Self-control is what I need also at PB! lol I hope your 1012 is off to a great start! Happy Saturday…hugs…Debbie

    • It wasn’t at the Outlet, so it wasn’t self-control that worked. It’s still on my mind though…the price is terrific. Thanks and I hope it’s a great New Year for you. Helen

  4. MMmmmmm….I just love the light mirrors provide! andrea@townandprairie

  5. Pottery Barn is always tempting me to buy buy buy. I wish I had a generous gift card. Ha! :)

I love mirrors! They are great in my house, which has minimal natural light. The mirrors help bounce the light around!

    • Emily, I’m loving receiving gift cards for my favorite shops. I totally agree about the bounce of light, too. And they are great to have on interior rooms without windows. (That is rare to see, but some rooms have none.)

  6. Hi Helen! That mirror is gorgeous! You’re tempting me! :)
    Be a sweetie,
    Shelia 😉

  7. That mirror really is beautiful! I have several that are waiting for new makeovers. Thank you for joining TTF last week! I hope you are having a great day!

    • Diann, I know what you mean by those waiting. I’ve had a lamp waiting for a long time. Soon, I hope to give it a facelift. You’re welcome and thanks for visiting my blog. See ya soon. Helen

  8. Gotta love a toy corner! That’s what havin’ family over is all about! What a beautiful room to spend time together in! andrea@townandprairie

    • Thanks for your lovely compliment on their family room and that toy corner gets lots of use by the grands, Andrea.
